Hailed as “one of the 10 best films of 2015.” Lewis Klahr will introduce and discuss his feature-length animation Sixty Six, a digital collage that sits at the intersection of mass culture and myth. Klahr masterfully combines found images and sounds culled from old comics, ads, magazine layouts, songs and ambient noises to form “an archaeology of the American conscious.”

Cosponsored by Hood Museum of Art, Film and Media Studies, Dartmouth College, Filmmakers Showcase, Howe Library, Eyewash Vermont International Film Foundation, Vermont Archive Movie Project, and CATV.
