The Department of Film & Media Studies presents the inaugural Logo Contest! This will be a yearly contest giving undergraduates the opportunity to design a logo for our new department swag. The winning logo will be featured on department swag and apparel for the 2026-2027 academic year (spring 2026 to winter 2027), and the winning designer will receive an external hard drive and a gift card to Still North Books in Hanover.
Contest Rules:
- Open to all undergraduate Dartmouth students
- Design can include a maximum of three colors
- Must be a vector image
- Design is not required to include text, but may use any of the following: FAMS, F&MS, Film and Media Studies, or Film & Media Studies
- No generative AI is to be used in the design process

Look out for a digital design workshop with Mac Waters in the Digital Lab (VAC 109) the first week of spring term. This will be an opportunity to convert your design into a vector image and get to know the resources available to students in the digital lab space.
The contest winner will be announced on Monday April 13, 2026.
