Allie Young '13 to be honored at Social Justice Awards ceremony

Allie Young '13 will be honored at the Social Justice Awards ceremony (1/28 at 7:30 PM ET) for her work as a leader and activist with Protect the Sacred and her work towards increasing authentic representation of Native Americans in film, tv, and mainstream media. Speaking with Kara Wakefield (Program Manager for the Office of Institutional Diversity & Equity) Allie shared that the Film and Media Studies Department had such a profound impact on her and her path as an undergrad. The department is so proud of Allie and her amazing and important work.
