Professor Emeritus Amy Lawrence presents New Animated Films

Professor Emeritus Amy Lawrence, working together with her sister Terry Lawrence, has finished work on two new animated films - Gershwin Station and The Magic Doll.

In Gershwin Station, "Love blossoms amid the bustle of Chicago's Union Station during the Jazz Age, the Depression, and World War II in this puppet animation inspired by George Gershwin's 'Concerto in F.'"

Their follow-up film The Magic Doll is "a turn of the century fairy tale where a little girl confronts a witch with the help of a bird, a fairy, and a golden doll. Music by Jean Sibelius."
