The Olympian talks about athletics, her life at Dartmouth, and finding balance.

Former cross country and track standout Alexi Pappas ’12, who competed for Greece in the 2016 Olympics, was a speaker at homecoming for the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of women’s athletics at Dartmouth.

Pappas, who is also a filmmaker and author, made headlines in 2020 when she spoke publicly about her experience with clinical depression.

During her visit to campus last month, she spoke with Dartmouth News about how to succeed as a student-athlete at Dartmouth, how the national conversation about mental health and athletes has evolved, and finding balance in life.
