Video Mashups (FILM 47.01) presents a showcase of student projects created this summer term. The screening will last about 50 minutes, and will be followed by a Q&A session with the students. Both sections of FILM 47.01 are taught by Professor Jeff Ruoff.

Location: Loew Theater, inside the Visual Arts Center at Dartmouth (22 Lebanon Street, Hanover, NH)

Time: 7:00-8:30 PM

About FILM 47.01: This hybrid production/studies course examines films that appropriate, quote, and re-contextualize footage from other movies.  There will be weekly screenings of works by avant-garde filmmakers such as Bruce Conner and Péter Forgács, documentaries such as Night and Fog and Atomic Café, fiction features such as What's Up Tiger Lily and Forrest Gump.  In addition to screenings, readings, and papers, students will edit short films on Final Cut Pro.
