Cheryl Coutermarsh, Film & Media Studies Department Administrator, Retires

It is with mixed emotion —joy for her, sadness for us— that we share the upcoming retirement plans of our beloved administrator, Cheryl Coutermarsh.

This year, marks 32 years that Cheryl has been with our department!! Cheryl has been working with faculty, students, and staff to coordinate course schedules and spaces, organize and oversee student screenings, visiting speakers, conferences, and many other special events. She's managed the budget, kept up with our majors, and other projects too numerous to list. During her many years at Dartmouth, Cheryl has been center of all Department activities: the integral hub of the Film and Media Studies team. We are grateful to Cheryl for all of those tasks she tirelessly pursued and her astounding institutional memory.

We are indebted to you, Cheryl, for your years of dedicated service to the college, to the community, and to our department. Your kindness, compassion and good humor have been a bright spot in our days.

We can't thank you enough!!

Please join us in wishing Cheryl the best in her new adventures. She'll be working with us until December 1st, 2020 in order to help us move into Fall term and adapt in this big transition.
