Over her more than four-decade career, New York-based filmmaker, performer, and writer Amy Greenfield has achieved widespread critical acclaim for her genre-bending films which cross the boundaries of experimental film, video art, and multimedia performance—from her feature film, Antigone, Rites of Passion, to her major new live multimedia work, Spirit in the Flesh. Exploring the dynamism of movement and the resilience of the human spirit, Greenfield creates a new visual and kinetic language of cinema.

BIO: Amy Greenfield is an internationally regarded experimental filmmaker, choreographer and performer, recently widowed with the passing of Robert Haller on April 28, 2021. Since 1970, she has pioneered a new cinematic language of human motion called the filmdance. This language evokes primal inner experience and a woman's representation of the body―intensely visual and kinesthetic―poetic, often nude and timeless.

BIO: Izabella Pruska-Oldenhof is a Toronto-based experimental filmmaker, scholar and an Associate Professor at the School of Image Arts, Ryerson University, Toronto. Her work as an artist and scholar is interdisciplinary and focuses on the intersections of art, body and technology.
