Chris Miller '97 and Phil Lord '97 to direct Star Wars spinoff

Phil Lord '97 and Chris Miller '97 have been tapped to direct the origin story of Han Solo.  The film will be written by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan, who told Variety that Lord and Miller are “two of the smartest, funniest and most original filmmakers around, and the ideal choice to tell the story of Han Solo, one of the coolest characters in the galaxy.”
