The festival, celebrating an anniversary year, also tasked local designers to make posters for films in the festival, and The Grand Bizarre participated. She also visited Ambulante in Mexico City, where she led a master class and workshop (Animating the World: Rhythms, Patterns, and Objects). This was her second trip to this year's edition of Ambulante; she conducted this interview with them in the blistering sunlight in earlier this year.

As mentioned earlier, in July Professor Mack had the opportunity to screen outtakes from The Grand Bizarre in a collaborative evening – Swimming Into the Ineffable with Polish musicians Sundial at Festival Animator in Poznan, Poland. On the way home, she stopped briefly to screen The Grand Bizarre at Wolf Kino in Berlin, Germany. This Fall, she will present her work at Doc's Kingdom in Portugal as well as the REACH Opening Festival at The Kennedy Center in D.C. She will be in residence at the Headlands Center for the Arts from September to November before directing the Los Angeles DSP in Winter 2020.
