The Dartmouth Political Union and the Dartmouth Jack-o-Lantern will co-host a bipartisan panel on political satire, featuring Mike Gillis '12, head writer of the left-leaning political humor publication The Onion, Jeremy McLellan, a stand-up comedian and media activist, and Evan Sayet, conservative comedian and creator of The Right to Laugh – a night of Conservative Comedy.

These panelists will discuss their experiences in political satire, the role of comedic relief in politics, and give a taste of their own political humor. This event will showcase the role of political humor in today’s highly divided, partisan moment, and will provide insight from a bipartisan, experienced group of political comedians. Politics Parodied will be moderated by Professor Deborah Brooks (Department of Government).
