  • Professor Flanagan featured on NPR's Morning Edition

    Professor Mary Flanagan and her Tiltfactor Lab's game buffalo were featured in a story exploring if "a game help reduce a person's racial and ethnic biases".  In the interview, Professor Flanagan explains that the game works "on a conscious level of reminding us that we don't really know a lot of things we might want to know about the world around us. But it also unconsciously starts to open up stereotypical patterns in the way we think."

  • Professor Flanagan to speak at World Economic Forum

    Professor Mary Flanagan has been invited as one of 40 cultural leaders from around the world to speak and present work at the next Davos Arts and Culture World Economic Forum annual meeting. The Forum will convene January 2018 in Switzerland.
